Bharat Box Office collection Day 1 – And the D-day is finally here as the much-anticipated and one of the biggest releases of the year, Bharat has arrived in full speed at the box office. After the disappointment of Race 3, the fans were eagerly waiting for their beloved star, Salman Khan, to bounce back strongly on the big screen and looks like the actor is quite successful till now with promising reports of advance ticket sales flowing in.
Eid and Salman Khan film have become synonymous to each other. Every year, Salman has a perfect Eidi for his fans, and 2019 was no different. This year Salman’s much-anticipated film Bharat hit the screens on June 5. And going by the early buzz, Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial venture did phenomenal on its opening day.
Each year, Salman Khan fans wait with bated breath for their favourite actor’s film. And this year, he has returned to the big screen with a film that has drama, action, emotion and comedy. Bharat has struck the right chord with fans, and Bhai fans thronged the theatres in large numbers on Eid.
According to early estimates, Salman Khan’s Bharat Box Office collection Day 1 earned Rs 30 – Rs 35 crore on its opening day. Released in 4700 screens across India, Bharat has managed to get a bumper opening. However, the first-day collection was affected a little by India vs South Africa World Cup match that took place in England.
Salman Khan has always struck gold on Eid. If his 2016 film Sultan opened at Rs 36.54 crore, his 2017 film Tubelight made Rs 21.15 crore on its opening day. And Salman last Eid release Race 3, which released in 4300 screens across the country, made Rs 29.17 crore.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat depicts the journey of a nation through a common man. Bharat, which also stars Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Tabu, hit the screens on June 5.

Bharat finally picks up heat in the region with 45-50% shows filling fast, including houseful boards at several places. Out of all, night shows are performing really well.
The capital city is a step ahead of Mumbai and showing some terrific trending on opening day. On the whole, about 60-65% shows are almost full. Single screens are already showing a houseful board at several places.
Bengaluru stays really good with promising growth since yesterday. While most of the single screens already sold out, about 40-45% shows are filling fast across the major multiplexes.
As expected, the city of Nizams is MIND-BLOWING with one of the best trends in the recent past. Owing to the huge following of Salman Khan, about 70-75% shows are almost full (inclusive of houseful boards). Historical performance on the cards!
The city of spot bookings gathers some pace on release day with a decent 25-30% shows almost full.
Kolkata, which stayed quiet for last few releases, is showing a good buzz for this Salman Khan starrer. In the city, around 40-45% shows are filling fast.
Chennai too is amazing with about 65-70% shows filling fast, which includes 40% houseful shows.
